  1. Hi everyone,

I've been busy making new lego items.  Did some stretch bracelets yesterday and made new pendants today.  New versions of bracelet and pendants will be listed on website next week, once I get the design right.

Just back from post office, so another batch of parcels on their way.

Off to make up some more bracelets for the market at Stirling University tomorrow so better get to it.

  3. Hi all,

I'm just recovering from a very busy week.  6 markets covered!

Good sales overall with some markets being better than others.  halloween items selling fast and fimo fruit and name bracelets proving to be very popular.

Just catching up on orders now and will get most posted this afternoon.

Got past the 1000 Facebook fans target today so will be doing a giveaway for a pair of Swarovski AB wing earrings very soon.

Better go and get the se parcels finished.

    Love from Jude x

  4. Morning all,

I've just added Halloween kids wooden bracelets to the online shop.  These are new this year and have a large central wooden charm and matching wooden beads on a black stretch cord.  Really fun for the little ones to wear.

I'm busy this morning making a special order Lego button hole for a wee boy to wear to a wedding in a couple of weeks.  He's wearing a Flower of Scotland tartan kilt, did not want a flower and loves Lego, so his Mum thought this would be a great idea.  It's a first for me, but I'm delighted with the results and will be listing a similar version online very soon. The cubic nature of the Lego matches well with the tartan ribbon and can therefore be made to suit most kilts.

Also going to be making some new crystal charm adjustable rings, beaded stretch bracelets and extra Lego rings and earrings for the 5 markets we are covering this weekend.

So I'm going to be very busy and had better get to it fast.

Hope you all have a great weekend.

  5. I'm really pleased to say that Jude's Jewels has almost 1000 Facebook fans.  I am hoping to make it past 1000 by the end of the week.  I've had a lot of help from fellow Facebook 'Link Lovers' who have spread the word.

Once I reach 1000 fans I will be doing a draw for a pair of my Swarovski AB Wing Earrings.  These are really fab so it's well worth 'liking' the page to be in with a chance of winning.

Just follow the link on the left hand side of the shop page and it will take you to my Facebook fan page.  Why not 'like' me and say hello ?

I've got to go again as a lot of new materials came in today to make stock for 5 markets over the weekend.  I'm going to be busy :)

  6. Hi again,

Just stopping by to say that I've finished (I think) re-arranging the items inthe online shop.  There are now sub-caregoties for the general jewellery items.  This should make searching easier and make it weasier to see what is for sale.  Have moved some items around as well, so please take a look.

I'm off to bed now as we have an early start in the morning to get set up for the Stirling University Atrium Traders Market.  It always takes a bit of time to set up when we don't know the ropes :)

    Night all.

  8. Hi everyone,

Well I lost my Internet connection about 10.30am and was totally lost until it came back on about 4pm.  Everything I needed to do was on the computer !!

Just had to spend the day making and finishing off pieces, and also got all orders posted.

Now managed to get new Steampunk items added to online shop so please take a look and let me know what you think.

OK, I'm off to bed now.

  9. Morning all,

It's bright but very breezy here in Scotland.

I'm starting to sort out some brass pieces to construst into Steampunk items.  Got a bit done last night but now working on an Octopus and a Butterfly.  May need to go into local antique shop for more pocket watch parts.

Also working on orders this morning so should get most posted this afternoon.

Must get some more pre-decimal coins ordered for cufflinks as they have been very popular, especially the thruppenny bits.

Also going to be looking at a couple of new lines :)

    So better get to it.

    Speak again soon.

  10. I'm so glad this weekend is over as I am really tired.

New Farmers Market in Clydebank on Friday from 10am to 4pm, Farmers Market in Queens Park in Glasgow on Saturday from 10am to 2pm, then helping out finishing off at kids party near Stirling after that, and finally the Craft Market at Ocean Termnal in Leith today from 10am to 5pm.  Also stock to be made up for Nick to take to Ocean Terminal on Saturday.

Today was the last craft market at Ocean Terminal due to a variety of problems.  Not entirely sorry to see this end as it never really lived up to it's potential.

Just finished getting all the beads ready for the orders to be made up tomorrow.  Childrens name bracelets very popular everywhere at the moment.  Can make some up at stall, but ran out of some letters over the weekend so have to get them made and in post tomorrow.

Have had a couple of new ideas for earrings and pendants so keep checking in later in the week as I will have prototypes made up by then I think.

Also toying with the idea of getting a special ceramic pot for doing fused glass in the microwave as I do not have access to a kiln anymore.  Will have to look into this though :)

Anyway I'm off to bed now.

    Bback tomorrow.
